I decided to start a blog a day after I received the news that I would have 6 months to a year to live if I didn't have a double lung transplant. My first post I did my best to summarize my journey up to that day and all the hurdles my family and I have overcome with my illnesses. I have one post specifically explaining my diseases because I felt they each are too big to try to summarize. April 27, 2017 I received the call I waited 53 days for. They had lungs! April 28, 2017 I went into surgery at 6 AM and got out at 7 pm stable in the ICU at 9 pm! Here's my second chance at life!
